The SM Stationery ArtFest kicked off last April 19, 2017 at SM Mega Mall Fashion Hall.
I'm always excited for this event because 1.) ART MATERIALS and 2.) ART. MA-TE-RIAAAALS! Just like what I said in my previous blog post about the event, it's so much fun going to events like this because you don't know who and what to expect for the event.
And look at what greeted me at the Elmer's booth! It's a unicorn!! I almost hugged it!
Elmer's and Simbalion's booth was bursting with pastel colors! I also found out that Elmer's now carry glitter glues in big bottles! Imagine all the possibilities you can make with the glue! Glittery slime at it's shiniest!
We also found these cute cupcakes made by a local Filipino artist whom I forgot the name (If you're reading this, please message me so that I can edit this one properly). It was so cute we couldn't resist not having a photo taken with it.
As we walked from booth to booth, Sharpie's booth caught my eye because of the yummy pastel colors. What's interesting is that there's a girl in the booth that I know I've seen before but I can't remember when and where. So as we draw near the booth, the girl approached me and asked "Geli Balcruz po, right?" And I said, "Yes! Sorry if i forgot your name, what's your name?", "Janus po, your previous student from BGC." And then I found out she was having a design your totebag demo with Sharpie! OMG. Happy teacher tears!!
Walking along, we stopped at iFex Papers booth, now, when they say they know their paper. They really know their paper. Just read my blog post about the Experience Paper event here.
Also spotted Carligraphy's works at the Pilot booth. I didn't know that Pilot had fine tip markers in different colors. I'm glad to see that they carry a lot of products now. I always known Pilot to be my go to pentel pen for school works.
All the demos and colors made me want to dive into a blank sketchbook to doodle. I've been stuck in a rut and been overthinking things and this event was a nice way to jump start and let the creative juices flowing again.
What a wonderful way to celebrate creativity! Hope you were able to drop by the event!
See you around!
